Covid-19, or Corona, currently grips the world. Infections are rising, hospitals are overwhelmed, and isolation makes contact difficult. Some ignore guidelines, so solidarity is crucial. Even if one overcomes the disease, others may not, as seen in rising death tolls.

Challenge

COVID-19 was a great example how an epidemic can change the world for the worst. Infection rates were steadily increasing and there seemed to be no end in sight. People were frightened and overwhelmed by the many inputs. So the challenge was find a way to make a sickness or more so the infection rate less scary and understandable. To facilitate citizen's handling of the virus, a new application is now being utilised, which boasts several helpful features.

Strategy

Simple and quick communication for all parties, with improved classification of statistics and frequent reminders for guideline adherence. Creating an application which aims to facilitate daily handling of Corona or other epidemics.

Precise tracking shows users virus dangers, while educating with accurate facts. Focus areas include overview statistics, task assistance, isolation mode, and personal medical profile and transmission process information. The goal is to make the virus understandable, fostering a healthy relationship instead of fear.

Solution

Creating a concept that aims to improve the handling of Covid-19, particularly its isolation measures, and providing an overview to better control the infection rate internationally.

Communication is considered a necessity rather than just a luxury, especially for individuals in medical facilities. Nobody should feel lonely, and this concept aims to address that. This is facilitated by a new system similar to the familiar Alexa, with an added video function. Furthermore, the system will feature a warning system for users about potential infections or the spread of sickness.

For Rona, the design philosophy revolves around creating a seamless and intuitive experience to aid individuals during the challenges of COVID-19 confinement and isolation. The brand is centered on providing innovative solutions that empower users to track and visualize their isolation journey with ease and clarity.
